Let’s start off on the right foot

"Rabbits are like human beings in many ways. They have a certain quality which it would not be accurate to describe as callousness or indifference. It is, rather, a blessedly circumscribed imagination and an intuitive feeling that life is now.”
—Richard Adams

Be gentle on your team, your leaders, and most importantly, yourself.

Chūnjié.

Sunday marks the start of the Lunar New Year celebration, when Asian communities across the globe will ring in another journey around the sun. A 15-day festival with several different names, this holiday heralds a renewal of prosperity, happiness, and health.

A hop, skip, and a jump.

Closing a Tiger year, tomorrow begins the Year of the Rabbit. Known for their good fortune in a variety of Asian legends, rabbits also represent peace and positivity. Be gentle. It’s a good reminder and not just for a toddler meeting a bunny for the first time.

You are enough.

With burnout continuing to plague employees, it’s fitting we’re symbolically heading into a period of rest. Chronic stress, like many are experiencing right now, has serious consequences on physical and mental health. When it sneaks up on you, burnout steals employees’ energy, positivity, and self-esteem.

The future has arrived.

The leaders of tomorrow, Gen Z professionals, are already privy to the dangers of stress and anxiety, prioritizing mental health, DEI, and other personal values over their next career move. In today’s climate, employees want and deserve, to feel psychologically supported by their employer.

Night owl.

There are many solid reasons to have your people working at the same time, but let’s remember the eight-to-five format hasn’t been reconsidered in a hundred years. Flextime is in-demand, giving employees the option of working when they need. Absenteeism, often due to burnout, costs U.S. employers over $225 billion annually.

Can you take a check?

Resisting flexible work arrangements is absurd, especially when asynchronous collaboration is the future of the global workplace. As more than half of HR leaders list employee mental health and wellbeing as one of their top challenges, embracing flexibility and rest can make a big difference.
