While this year has certainly come with its challenges and disruptions, it’s also revealed tremendous opportunities for change, growth and innovation.

The pandemic, economic uncertainty and racial unrest will most certainly mark the year of 2020 but the way individuals, organizations and communities respond to and innovate forward will define the years to come. At Businessolver, we want to honor and encourage that spirit, recognizing HR leaders from across the industry who are forging new paths every day, starting with this unique time.

HR GameChangers, our new video interview series, sits down with HR leaders from across the country to hear their stories and explain what it takes to change the game in 2020 and onward. These leaders provide insights into how they balance ‘helping in the moment’ with ‘having an eye towards shaping the future’.

Hailing from a variety of industries and disciplines, HR GameChangers are not afraid to navigate uncharted territory to deliver results that lead to a more resilient, cared for and healthier workforce.

Launching today, meet our first three HR GameChangers:

  • Christin Deacon, Director of Health Benefit Operations and Policy and Planning for the New Jersey Division of Pensions and Benefits: "It’s called healthcare, not sick care… We have to change our mindset for how we look at employee health benefits, with an aim to keep people healthy. "
  • Anne Burkett, National Practice Leader, HR Technology, Employee Benefits for USI: "Communication is such a high priority right now… We have a unique opportunity to stretch the boundaries and think outside the box."
  • Mark Stelzner, Founder/Managing Principal for IA: "We have been talking about moving from the war for talent to the war for skills"
