IMG_2605.jpgThe cold weather didn’t dampen spirits as Team Businessolver took to the streets in Boston, Massachusetts for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure for breast cancer this past weekend.

According to the American Cancer Society (ACS), a woman in the United States is diagnosed with breast cancer every three minutes and 40,000 will die from the disease each year.

Even one diagnosis is too many and that’s why the Businessolver Foundation chose to work with and support the Susan G. Komen organization in 2016. Their mission: To save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering others, ensuring quality care for all and investing in science to find the cures.

Frank Kosiba, Businessolver Senior Sales Consultant, served as Boston’s Team Captain and said that he was glad he was able to experience this impactful event, “Everyone has a story; meaning they have some sort of connection to breast cancer. We happened to see our neighbor and found out she ran the race as well. She was participating on behalf of her mother who is a breast cancer survivor.”

Connect with us and participate in a race! The next Komen race will be in Ft. Worth, Texas on April 23 and then Chicago, Illinois on May 8. If you’d like to race with us in a city near you, let us know. Send us a message Foundation@businessolver.com.
