Businessolver has long been a Make-A-Wish sponsor and supporter. Two years ago we were able to grant a Disney World trip to a Wish Kid and his family. We invited the family to join us for a pre-trip party at the office, complete with tasty treats and gifts to make the trip more enjoyable. The experience was one that made a lasting impact on many of our employees.

That’s why when Make-A-Wish Iowa’s annual Jolly Holiday Lights fundraiser was cancelled due to severe flooding in early December 2015 we knew we had to step up and help.

We encouraged our clients to engage with us this past fall by painting a canvas that, once complete, revealed the Make-A-Wish logo. For every picture of complete artwork we received we would donate $10 to Make-A-Wish Iowa to help grant the wish of a child battling a life-threatening medical condition. Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

We received terrific response to our call to action. Thank you to everyone who painted and sent us pictures of your wonderful works of art. We’ll be making a donation to the tune of $500 to Make-A-Wish Iowa thanks to your generosity.
